RISE Research Institutes of Sweden is a fully state-owned international research and innovation institute with 2,200 employees. Both as a research and innovation service partner, RISE is involved in multiple international collaboration programmes with academia, industry, and the public sector. RISE promotes all sorts of innovative processes and its roughly 100 test-beds and demonstration facilities are instrumental in developing future-proof products, technologies, and services.

Johanneberg Science Park is a meeting point for Enterprise, Research and Development. One of its main missions is to create open and attractive interaction platforms for an interdisciplinary exchange of ideas and knowledge between academia, industry, research institutes and society actors. Johannberg Science Park is situated at the Chalmers Campus area in central Gothenburg. The activities are concentrated on the areas of Urban Development, Energy, Materials & Nano Technology. Johanneberg Science Park is one of 80 innovation environments throughout Sweden – of which 6 are located here in the West Sweden region.
