Alberto Turri,

Dr. Alberto Turri graduated in Dentistry at the University of Padua (1997).

He specialized in Periodontics at the University of Gothenburg (2004-06), and he obtained a PhD at the department of Biomaterials (Gothenburg – 2022) investigating the principle of Guided Bone Regeneration and the biological behavior of barrier membranes that could facilitate bone healing or further enhance bone regeneration prior to implant installation in case of severe bone defects.

From 2007 to 2012, Dr. Turri worked as a Senior Consultant for post-graduate students at the Specialistic Clinic in Periodontics, Public Dental Health Service (Gothenburg, Sweden), and his clinical activity focused on periodontal nonsurgical and surgical treatments.

Since 2013 he’s been working in the field of oral implantology at the Surgical Department of the Brånemark Clinic (Gothenburg, Sweden).

Active member of the Italian Society of Periodontology (SIdP), he is author and co-author of scientific papers in international journals.
