Holger Wallbaum is Full Professor in Sustainable building at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden since 2012. Between 2006 and 2012 he was Assistant-Professor for Sustainable construction at ETH Zurich, Switzerland. Before, Holger was co-founder of the business and research consultancy triple innova in Wuppertal, Germany, working on sustainability challenges in various sectors. Holger is specialized on environmental and sustainability strategies for the built environment with plenty of experience in leading national and larger international projects. He holds active positions at the International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction (CIB), is assurance group member to the Energy Efficiency in Buildings (EEB 2.0) initiative of the World Business Council for Sustainable Development and member to the General Assembly of the Climate-KIC. At Chalmers he has been appointed as scientific coordinator of the HSB LivingLab that is built on Chalmers campus Johanneberg. Holger is Editorial Board Member of the Journals “Sustainable Cities and Society”, “Sustainable Development” as well subject editor for construction materials and buildings with the International Journal of Life Cycle Assessment.
